Daktari Bush School website is now cached

We have cached the Daktari Animal Orphanage and Bush School website. Sounds like boring news but there is a very interesting reason for caching their site...
Tomorrow at 13:00 GMT +1 French TV is airing a documentaty about them. We are expecting a huge amount of traffic to the site and in order to ensure the site not falling over, caching the site will help relieving cpu cycles on the server.
Modern shared hosting servers can take a lot of traffic but server side websites such as content managed websites (Joomla, WordPress, silverstripe) run off a sql database and php. This means pages are dynamically created on the server before being parsed to the viewer. Caching creates in effect static versions of these dynamic pages in order to only serve files (pages). This is much easier to handle by the server and there for allows it to handle much higher traffic loads.
The cached files are then recreated at a pre-defined interval, usually only a couple of minutes. This allows the viewer to still see up-to-date information on the site.
